Effective date: October 23, 2026. Operator: Hub City Digital Co LLC, 6519 86th Street, Lubbock, TX 79424. Contact: info@hubcitydigitalco.com.
What we collect
- Newsletter signups: your email address and, if you choose, your first name. We also record which part of the site you signed up from.
- Forms: what you type into our contact, story tip, event, and sponsorship forms, including any contact details you provide.
- Site visits: we do not currently use an analytics service, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may store small preferences in your browser, such as remembering that you dismissed the newsletter pop-up. If we add an analytics tool, we will describe it here.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard technical logs.
How we use it
We use newsletter information to send the Hub City Uncovered newsletter and to understand which signup placements work. We use form submissions to reply to you and, for event submissions, to review and list events. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Who handles it
Our newsletter is sent through Beehiiv, which receives your email address (and first name, if provided) to deliver it. See Beehiiv’s own privacy policy for how it handles data. Our website is hosted by Hostinger, which stores the site, form submissions, and server logs and handles our email. We share information with these providers only so they can run these services for us.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. To ask about, correct, or delete other information we hold about you, contact us at info@hubcitydigitalco.com.
Retention and security
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our records, and we delete them on request. Submissions are stored on our password-protected website and can be seen only by our team. Newsletter subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and change the effective date above.
