Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, so Lubbock gets a whole week of costumes, candy and the occasional scare. Below are the haunted houses, festivals, library programs, Día de los Muertos events and top trunk-or-treat picks we could confirm for Monday, Oct. 26, through Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, in Lubbock and nearby towns. Each event name links to the source we used. Plans can change, so check with the host before you head out.
