Hub City Uncovered exists to connect Lubbock residents with the best local experiences, events, restaurants, entertainment, and hidden gems, while helping local businesses get discovered and thrive.
We are a local discovery platform: not a traditional newspaper and not a tourism brochure. We publish useful reporting, community stories, practical guides, and a weekly newsletter that people actually look forward to.
Where we cover
Our coverage area includes Lubbock and the nearby communities of Wolfforth, Shallowater, Idalou, Slaton, Abernathy, New Deal, and Levelland.
What we believe
- Local first. Local people and locally owned businesses come before national chains and passing trends.
- Discovery. There is more to do and love here than most of us have found yet.
- Connection. Knowing your neighbors and your city makes living here better.
- Authenticity. We write the way we talk, and we say plainly when something is sponsored.
- Community growth. When local businesses and local readers find each other, the whole area benefits.
